From your friendly neighborhood Welcoming Committee head, we give you the three reasons why attendees shouldn’t be late for the Blog Parteeh!

1. It’s rude. And very selfish.
   Whoever started making people believe in being “fashionably late” should go to hell. Not to be rude myself, but please. The Welcoming Committee members who will man the venue registration booth and let people in have unselfishly given up some fun time with other bloggers. It would be really inconsiderate if you further deprive them of fun time just because you want to make a grand entrance. We understand that there are a lot of unforeseen events that could happen on your journey to the party (getting lost, car got a flat tire, bad traffic, etc.)—that’s why there will always be a committee member manning the booth. BUT, it would really mean a lot to us if you give it your best shot to be there on time.
2. You won’t even come close to qualifying for the Early Bird Award.
   Duh. I think this is pretty obvious. How can you be called an “early bird” if you’re not even early?!
3. There won’t be any guarantees you’d get a schwag.
   Sorry, but as much as we’d like to give this guarantee, we can’t. There’s a limited number of goodie bags to be given out, and we’ll be giving them on a first come, first served basis. If you’re really late and the schwags have run out—well, maybe another blogger will be kind enough to let you peek into his/her goodie bag!

Congrats to all who made the bloggers’ list! See you at the party. Remember to bring your e-ticket and a valid ID. Don’t be late!

Here’s what you need to enter the venue.

That’s it. You need your PRINTED E-TICKET, YOURSELF, and ONE(1) Valid ID to get in to the Parteeh! Registration will start at exactly 1:00PM GMT+8 and you will be allowed to enter the venue at exactly 1:30PM.

The REGISTRATION Rules:
We’re all old enough and know what’s right and what’s wrong. Everyone please obey all rules and regulations that’ll be strictly imposed during the registration.

When you arrive, please stand in line and present your e-ticket to the Welcoming Committee headed by Gail Dela Cruz-Villanueva and wait to be issued an ID Tag. Please observe strictly ONE line only and first come first served.

Again, NO E-TICKET, NO ENTRY. This will be imposed strictly.

Punctuality is a must, we’ll start at exactly 2:00PM even we’re not complete. Don’t miss the fun, arrive early.

With all that said, I want to congratulate all the bloggers who made it to the list and SEE YOU ALL AT THE PARTEEH!

No offense to whoever won my Senior prom’s “early bird” award, but in the land of Philippine time, arriving an hour early just isn’t cool. And all he got for his trouble was a decorative token! But for Blog Parteeh ‘07, punctuality will be in, thanks to the discounts Microwarehouse Inc. will be offering.

The first forty registrants get to bring home a 10% discount stub for either the WRT54GC or Treo 680. Which means they can pay less for a portable wireless router or a full-featured smartphone. There will be forty stubs available, twenty for the router and twenty for the 680, so first come, first served.

If you’re still late, don’t worry. All participants have a chance to win the Belkin Cushtop, or a mini-beanbag designed just for your favorite gadget.

Thank you to all who supported us in this endeavor. Finally, we’re now done with the list and all set.

In case you have been invited, please prepare a song or two and put it in your portable music player. BlogParteeh has a MusicDJ feature that will allow you bloggers to play music using Microwarehouse’s IPOD HI-FI for a few minutes each, maybe 10.

Tip: Its a party, so play party (slow OR fast) music (read: not heavy music) because the venue’s a bit picky with loud music. Oh well, what’s important is that you express yourself. Yes?!

We’ve just sent invites to the 2nd batch of lucky bloggers who made it so check your e-mails now and maybe you’re one of them.

Again, please take some time to familiarize yourselves with the Committee Members blogs and the Sponsors/Donors blogs as well.

The parteeh is nearing and we’re running out of time! So what are you waiting for? Go go go and play some tricks to get you on the list!

Update: The venue has agreed to extend deadline for the list of attendees, so YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE till Friday. ETickets will go out today, so prepare your printers. Reminder to all active bloggers who were already invited (Part 1), this is the Party that Blogging has brought you — clear up your Saturday schedule, set your phone alarms and prepare to have blogging fun!

The Blog Parteeh 07 Online Registration Team’s working hard to get your invites/etickets sent. Just remember that this is an event for bloggers by bloggers, sorry we cannot accomodate your non-blogger friends and people. Most the activities will be all about blogs and we want everyone to participate.

Some of you have correct technorati tags (congratulations!) but technorati doesn’t show you. That’s okay, we’ll consider that.

We’ll be putting up your blogs here soon but in the meantime, please take time to familiarize yourself with the Committee members blogs, the sponsors sites as well as the donors.

Why? Because that’s important in at least two of the activities.
We did say this will be a BLOG-CENTRIC event. And it starts now.
Update: One activity will involve TRIVIA about YOUR OWN BLOG.

For those who might be thinking that this is an A-LIST blogger event - well, you don’t have to be an A-Lister to do the requirements, do you? As long as you have a passion for blogging (you’re active) and you do the 4 steps.
